The Department of MCA, Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College (AKGEC), in collaboration with the Mahatma Hansraj Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MH-MMTTC), Hansraj College, University of Delhi, successfully organized an 8-day Faculty Development Programme on “NEP Orientation and Sensitization” from 10th to 18th March 2026. The programme brought together educators from diverse institutions and provided a dynamic platform to align teaching practices with the vision of NEP 2020. The sessions were enriched by eminent resource persons including Dr. Shalini Choithrani, Prof. Tapan Kumar Maity, Dr. Kushagra Rajendra, Prof. Dinesh Chahal, Prof. A. K. Bakshi, Prof. Vishal Sood, Dr. Ikram Raza Khan, Dr. Anurag Kakkar, Prof. Nalin K. Shastree, Dr. Debjani Roy, Prof. Amita Dutt, Dr. Ashutosh Yadav, and Prof. Anjala Kalsie, who shared valuable insights on holistic and multidisciplinary education, Indian Knowledge Systems, academic leadership and governance, research and development, ICT in academia, skill development, and inclusive education . The FDP emphasized innovation, collaboration, and practical approaches to enhance teaching-learning processes in higher education. With enthusiastic participation and impactful discussions, the programme marked a significant step towards empowering educators and fostering transformative academic practices.
