The Programming Club at AKGEC successfully organized Code++ Coding Contest on 4th November 2025. Code++ a competitive programming contest. The contest tested and rewarded participants for their coding skills under time constraints. The event fostered a culture of coding excellence and provided students with a platform to challenge themselves, learn collaboratively, and showcase their programming capabilities.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from 2nd-year and 3rd-year students, who engaged actively in the contest. The Programming Club team ensured smooth organization, resulting in a seamless experience for all.

Event Highlights:
Code++ 2025 featured a hands-on team-based competition.

● The competitive programming contest was hosted on a popular competitive coding platform Hackerrank and included a series of algorithmic and problem-solving challenges.

● Registrations for the event were managed via a custom-built website developed by the Programming Club team.

● The event provided a testing environment, pushing students to improve their skills while enjoying the challenge.

● The top three winners of the contest were awarded the following cash prizes:

○ 1st Place: ₹1500

○ 2nd Place: ₹1000

○ 3rd Place: ₹500

The success of Code++ reaffirmed the strong programming culture among AKGEC students and encouraged many to continue honing their skills in competitive coding.
