REPORT OF ONLINE CODING CONTEST “CODE-IN-CORONA” ORGANIZED BY PROGRAMMING CLUB, CSE DEPARTMENT

An Online Coding Contest “CODE-IN-CORONA” was organized by the Programming Club, Department of Computer Science and Engineering on 17 April 2021 (Saturday) for second year students of all branches with an aim to facilitate programming skills among them, so they can cater the demands of IT industry. The contest was organized online on HackerRank platform from 2 PM to 4 PM. In this contest, students solved five programming problems assigned to them in the area of Data Structures and Algorithms. They had chosen programming language of their choice to solve these problems. Results were generated online by HackerRank platform depending upon the time taken by the students to solve assigned problems and verifying their solutions on all test cases. The contest was organized under the supervision of Mr. Vikas Kamra, Faculty Coordinator, Programming Club and a team of 03 Student Coordinators.

Overall this online coding contest was beneficial and knowledgeable experience for all the participating students to learn more about computer programming skills and its applications. The event provided an opportunity for participants to learn new technologies.
