The Programming Club, Department of Computer Science & Engineering had organized a Coding Contest “BIT CODERS” for the second year students of all branches of our college on 20th April, 2022 (Wednesday) from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM in Computer Centre – I and CSE Labs, 3rd and 4th Floor, CS/IT Block.
The contest was organized on HackerRank platform with an aim to facilitate programming skills among second year students, so they can cater the demands of IT industry. In this contest, students solved six programming problems assigned to them in the area of Data Structures and Algorithms. They had chosen programming language of their choice to solve these problems. Results were generated by HackerRank platform depending upon the time taken by the students to solve assigned problems and verifying their solutions on all test cases.

Overall this coding contest was beneficial and knowledgeable experience for all the participating students to learn more about computer programming skills and its applications. The event provided an opportunity for participants to learn new technologies.
