Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College (AKGEC) is thrilled to announce the launch of the “AKGEC Drone Academy" under its skills initiative, AKGEC Skills Foundation. Approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) as a Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO) for Small Class Drones, AKGEC becomes the first and only engineering college in Uttar Pradesh with this prestigious accreditation.

The academy will offer a DGCA-Certified Small Class Drone Pilot Training Course, providing graduates with a Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) authorized by DGCA, thus creating numerous career opportunities in the burgeoning drone industry.

This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of establishing India as a global drone hub by 2030. With the drone services industry projected to grow over INR 30,000 crore and create over five lakh jobs in the next three years, AKGEC Drone Academy is set to revolutionize drone technology in India, advancing innovation, skill development, and economic growth in the region.
