As per the recent directive from AKTU, permitting offline classes along with on-line classes, the college is planning to commence / conduct of first year classes & labs in blended (online / offline) mode. The University has also published the revised Academic Calendar indicating End Semester examinations from 8th March 2021 for I and III semester.
All first year students have been asked by the university to report to college for physical submission of fee and documents between 21-24 Nov 2020. However, students who have frozen their seats and have obtained Allotment Letter may report to college to submit their fee and documents on any day till Nov. 24, 2020 between 9 AM to 3 PM. Instructions in this regards are available on college website www.akgec.ac.in.
Classes for first year will be conducted w.e.f. 01 Dec 2020 in College Lecture Theatres for students who choose to come to college and the same will be transmitted in on-line mode using the Google Meet platform. Attendance will be counted for both online and offline classes. However, students who opt for physically attending classes in off-line mode will have to be present in the Lecture Theatres.
After reporting to the college for physical submission of fee and documents, you may choose any of the following options considering the effectiveness of your learning in on-line mode, health / safety concerns and commuting convenience etc:-
a) Attend theory and practical classes in online mode. Such students after submitting fee and documents would go back to their home and attend regular online classes from home. They would come back only when situation on Covid-19 improves and university makes it mandatory for them to come to college for academic activities like theory/practical revisions and end semester examination.
b) Attend classes in offline mode in the college class rooms. Such students may apply for hostel accommodation or make their own arrangements outside as desired by them.
For proper planning, arrangements for hostel accommodation and finalizing the schedule for simultaneous conduct of online / offline classes and sessional tests etc, the number of students desirous of coming to college for attending offline classes is required. Accordingly, all B. Tech and MCA students are required to submit their choice from the alternatives mentioned above by filling the form immediately at link
for advance planning by the college. Please fill the Google form latest by Nov. 25, 2020.
The students who opt for attending physical classes in the college as per option (b) above are also required to submit a hard copy of the attached undertaking (click here) signed by themselves and their parents / guardian along with a copy of their Aadhar Card when they report to the college.
In order to strictly comply with all safety measures, physical distancing and sanitization norms, the college bus facility will not be available till the time the Covid–19 situation stabilizes and becomes normal.
While filling the Google form, all students are advised to fill their allotted branch, email address and mobile numbers correctly as these would be required for sending you information regarding conduct of orientation program and classes.
